This is a painting in a series, of semi-draped and undraped female models.  Because this particular pose is in-between a front and side pose, I called it side-ish.

Before I begin to paint a painting, a choose an intention for the work.  The intention for this piece was “sensual”  When my photographer brought her back to me after he had taken photos of the painting, that is exactly the words he used to describe this female figure.

I hope you find this piece sexy or sensual as well.
